The second edition of Frankfurt’s premier table tennis event WTT Champions Frankfurt 2024 has delivered high-stakes matches, unforgettable upsets, and electric crowd moments. With only this event standing between the players and WTT Finals Fukuoka 2024, every match is a battle, and the competition is fiercer than ever.

 LIN Yun-Ju (TPE) demonstrated his championship resilience, saving a match point to edge out Alexis LEBRUN (FRA) in a thrilling 3-2 victory (11-5, 11-5, 9-11, 9-11, 12-10). The defending Men’s Singles champion made it clear he’s here to defend his title with everything he’s got.

In the Women’s Singles draw, No. 3 seed Miwa HARIMOTO (JPN) powered through Germany’s top-ranked player Nina MITTELHAM (GER) with a 3-0 sweep (11-9, 12-10, 11-8), sending a strong message that she’s in peak form for Frankfurt.

Satsuki ODO (JPN), the recent WTT Champions Montpellier titleholder, held her nerve in a fierce 3-2 battle (11-4, 14-12, 9-11, 7-11, 11-3) to overcome Jia Nan YUAN (FRA), proving once again she’s a force to be reckoned with.

Local heroes Benedikt DUDA (GER) and Dang QIU (GER) gave the German fans plenty to cheer about, advancing to the next round and keeping the home crowd’s hopes alive.
