ETTU Development Camps 2025 – Call for Hosting Applications

The European Table Tennis Union invites Member Associations and accredited European Training Centres to apply as hosts for the 2025 ETTU U13 Development Camps. Interested associations are kindly requested to submit their applications to the ETTU Deputy Secretary General (projects@ettu.org) and ETTU Administration Officer (ana.ivosevic@ettu.org) by Friday, December 6, 2024.

In 2025, the ETTU Development Camps will undergo some structural changes to enhance talent identification and progression across Europe. The camps will be categorized as follows:

Selection Camps: Two camps annually, open to players born in 2013 or later. Top-performing players will qualify for the prestigious Eurotalents U-13 Program in 2026.

Eurotalents Camps: Two camps per year, exclusively for players selected in 2024 or those granted wildcards due to outstanding international results.

Continental Hopes Camp: One camp annually, open to all players born in 2013 or later. Eurotalents players will receive full accommodation support.

Host Eligibility and Support

All Member Associations and European Training Centres part of the Network of European Training Centres are eligible to apply as hosts. Hosting applications will be evaluated based on alignment with ETTU’s strategic goals, avoidance of scheduling conflicts with Europe Youth Series Events and WTT Youth Events in Europe, and infrastructure quality. Associations intending to host a camp alongside a Europe Youth Series Event are encouraged to indicate this in their applications.

Hosting Conditions and Application Process

Participation in the camps is open to all Member Associations. ETTU will partially cover accommodation for one boy and one girl per Member Association. The best-performing players from each camp will be considered for the Eurotalents U-13 Program in 2026.Selection Camps: Two camps per year for players born in 2013 or later.

Eurotalents Camps: Exclusively for players selected during 2024 Selection Camps or by wildcard. ETTU will fully cover accommodation for selected players and one coach per Member Association.

Continental Hopes Camp: Open to all players born in 2013 or later. ETTU will cover accommodation for Eurotalents players and one coach per association. Non-Eurotalents players will receive partial accommodation support. Top performers will be eligible for the ITTF Hopes Program.

Deadline for Final Application: Friday, December 6, 2024
