Danilo FASO Wins Under-15 Boys' Title at 2024 Europe Youth Top 10

The winner of the Under-15 Boys' Singles event at the 2024 Europe Youth Top 10 in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland, is Italy’s Danilo FASO. Samuel MICHNA of Poland secured second place, while Italy's Francesco TREVISAN finished third.

In the CAIIS Sports and Entertainment Hall, FASO completed all nine rounds undefeated, cementing his dominance in the competition. FASO, the European Under-13 champion crowned in Zagreb two years ago, improved on his fourth-place finish at last year’s Top 10 in Bucharest. He has twice reached the medal podium at the European Youth Championships, winning bronze in doubles, and advanced to the singles quarterfinals in Malmö.

Samuel MICHNA lost two matches in the tournament, one to FASO and the other to Mark GERGELY of Hungary. Earlier this year, MICHNA claimed gold in the doubles event at the European Championships in Sweden and also reached the singles quarterfinals.

Francesco TREVISAN, FASO’s doubles partner and co-medalist, also reached the singles quarterfinals in Malmö. At the Top 10 in Poland, he was defeated by both MICHNA and FASO.
