Slovenia’s Darko JORGIC has secured his maiden WTT Series Men's Singles title at the WTT Contender Lima 2024, overcoming Germany's Patrick FRANZISKA in a dominant 4-0 performance (11-5, 11-9, 11-3, 11-7) in the final.

JORGIC’S powerful play allowed little room for FRANZISKA to make a comeback, cementing the Slovenian's place at the top of the podium.

"The feeling is amazing. I’m really happy to win the WTT Contender title for the first time," said JORGIC. "I’ve had two chances before and lost in the finals, so this victory means a lot."

The win in Lima marks JORGIC’S return to form after his last WTT final appearance in 2022. He now sets his sights on the upcoming WTT Champions Macao 2024.

In the Women's Singles, Japan's Satsuki ODO claimed her first WTT Series title with a commanding 4-0 victory over Chinese Taipei’s HUANG Yi-Hua (11-7, 11-8, 15-13, 12-10). The triumph builds on ODO'S stellar year, which already includes three WTT Feeder Series titles.

The Men's Doubles title went to Florian BOURRASSAUD and Esteban DORR of France after a thrilling 3-2 win over Vincent PICARD and Taehyun KIM (11-5, 10-12, 11-6, 10-12, 11-8). Meanwhile, Brazil's Henrique NOGUTI and Giulia TAKAHASHI secured the Mixed Doubles crown with a 3-1 win over Vincent PICARD and Chile's Paulina VEGA.
