ETTU President Ronald KRAMER has hailed a new era in English table tennis after officially opening the ETTA’s new offices.

Mr KRAMER performed the ceremony at the headquarters in Milton KEYNES and joked with the ETTA staff: “This is the first time I’ve opened a national table tennis headquarters so I’m very nervous!”

ETTU President added: “I think this is a good place to work. It’s very spacious and open and everyone is working very close to each other so if you want someone you can just yell! New offices always help they provide an impetus and with new ideas and new people I’m looking forward to good co-operation with you.”

Mr KRAMER also had a sneak preview of the new branding for the English national governing body of table tennis and said: “I’m very happy with your new logo it shows table tennis is not just an organisation but is a family and this is what we’re trying to develop in Europe and worldwide. It’s about people who enjoy their game at all levels.”

ETTA Chair Sandra DEATON presented Mr KRAMER with a cut glass memento of his visit and the pair cut a special commemorative table tennis cake with Mr KRAMER joking: “It’s a bit like getting married!”
