In the semis the Englishman who won 2014 Pro Tour in Almeria beat actual individual champion of Old Continent and no. 1 seed Dimitrij OVTCHAROV in seven games while NIWA defeated his compatriot and no. 2 seed Jun MIZUTANI in straight games.
In all-Japanese final of Women`s Singles event Kasumi ISHIKAWA was better than Ai FUKUHARA after exciting seven games (last one 15:13). FUKUHARA beat SHAN Xiaona in six sets of the semis and it was the last representative of Europe. German women previously eliminated three Japanese players in a row.
