SCRUTON appointed as new ETTU Secretary-General

At todayโ€™s European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) Executive Board meeting in Bratislava Mr Richard SCRUTON has been appointed as new ETTU Secretary-General/Executive Officer. His duty in the office will start on January 1st 2014 and last until December 31st

At todayโ€™s European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) Executive Board meeting in Bratislava Mr Richard SCRUTON has been appointed as new ETTU Secretary-General/Executive Officer. His duty in the office will start on January 1st 2014 and last until December 31st 2016.

In this position Mr SCRUTON will succeed long time ETTU General Secretary Jeanny DOM.

Mr SCRUTON worked for two major UK financial services providers within sales and marketing. His experience as London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games table tennis manager highly recommended him. Mr SCRUTON is a Board member in English Table Tennis Association and he was engaged as chief referee of the European Youth Championships on five occasions from 2000 to 2004.

New Secretary-General will be predominantly based in Luxembourg.
