This is the fourth year of the European mixed doubles since it was separated from other European events and will be the 3rd time that it has been broadcasted LIVE and FREE on the Internet on ETTU TV powered by LAOLA1.tv. Fans can expect another fantastic weekend of table tennis with ETTU TV powered by LAOLA1.tv pulling out all the stops to provide the most in-depth European table tennis coverage the Internet has to offer.

Reigning champions Andrei FILIMON and Elizabeta SAMARA will be looking to get their 3rd title in a row and have a very decent chance of winning once again. The chances of Romania taking the gold medal and possibly even producing a white wash is also very high as they continue to be very strong in the doubles competition. They have Hunor SZOCS and Camelia POSTOACA, Constantin CIOTI and Iulia NECULA, Ovidiu IONESCU and Bernadette SZOCS, Lucian MUNTEANU and Cristina HIRICI taking part in this event to challenge the defending champions for the title.
