In the Junior Boys Singles Event at the 56th European Youth Championships in Ostrava first casualty of Italian teamโs great success was Alessandro BACIOCCHI. Player who helped Italy reach the gold medal in Junior Teamโs Event suffered by the hands of Henrik JOHANSSON of Sweden in the first round. They went full distance and in the seventh game Swede won by 13:11. BACIOCCHI is currently ranked at the position no. 26 at European rankings, whilst JOHANSSON is no. 64.ย
โI always play bad in the morning. Also it is hard for me to play after Teamโs Event. But I hope everything will be better in Boyโs and Mixed Doubles. I am still in game in both events,โ said BACIOCCHI.
