Brothers Omar and Khalid ASSAR very much carry the hopes of the host nation .Omar ASSAR is the second seed in the Menโs Singles event; Khalid ASSAR is the second seed in the Under 21 Menโs Singles competition. Menโs Singles top seed is Turkeyโs Bora VANG with Abdel-Kader SALIFOU of France being the third seed followed by Spainโs Marc DURAN.
In the Under 21 Menโs Singles competition, the top seed is Belgiumโs Julien INDEHERBERG, the respective third and fourth seeds are the host nationโs Mohamed SHOUMAN and Omar BEDAIR.
Yana NOSKOVA of Russia, Dana CECHOVA of Czech Republic, Dina MESHREF of Egypt and Maria DOLGIKH of Russia are the leading names in the Womenโs Singles Event.
