26/0272012 – At the U16 Boys Event at Safir International Tournament Padasak TANVIRIYAVECHAKUL of Thailand clinched the title. He beat Brian AFANADOR of Puerto Rico in the final 3:0 (5 4 9). In semis TANVIRIYAVECHAKUL succeeded against HUNG Ka Tak of Hong Kong 3:1 (-5 5 9 10) whilst AFANADOR accounted at Ozgun OZTURK of Turkey 3:0 (9 7 4).

The title in U16 Girls Event also will go to Thailand. Tamolwan KHETKUEN overcame LIN Ye of Singapore in the ultimate stage 3:2 (-7 6 9 -3 9). In semis KHETKUEN beat Polina BIKEEVA of Russia 3:1 (3 -5 4 9) and LIN Ye overcame Daria CHERNOVA 3:2 (8 -9 7 -3 4).

Both titles in men’s and Women’s Singles Class 1 tournament went to Japan. In men’s Event Yuki HIRANO from Japan University beat Naoki HOSHINO from the same University is straight games final 3:0 (10 11 6). In semis HIRANO overcame Hiroki HOSOKAWA 3:0 (7 7 4) and HOSHINO beat Shimon RABINOVICH of Israel 3:0 (5 9 8).
Girls from Japan University clinched gold silver and bronze. Natsumi MATSUMURA beat Yuko NAKAO in the final 3:1 (-12 5 10 8) MATSUMURA beat Yoko HIRANO 3:2 (-6 -11 5 7 8) and NAKAO accounted at Kaori KIDO 3:0 (4 9 9).

In ITTF Cadet Girls Event Tamolwan KHETKUEN succeeded to the top position at the medal rostrum. In the final she overcame Daria CHERNOVA of Russia 3:0 (10 9 6). In semis KHETKUEN overcame ANG Wan Qi of Singapore 3:1 (14 -10 3 8) and CHERNOVA beat compatriot Maria PANARINA 3:1 (-8 7 -9 9 9).

In ITTF Cadet Boys Tonin RYUZAKI of Japan beat HUNG Ka Tak of Hong Kong in final 3:0 (5 9 3). In Semi final Tonin RYUZAKI overcame Can AKKUZU 3:2 (7 -8 13 -8 11) whilst HUNG Ka Tak succeeded against Anton KALLBERG 3:1 (-6 7 4 8).
