Scotland National Champs: HOWIESON and EDWARDS on the favourite list

03/03/2010 – Scotland’s Seniors National Championships will be played on Saturday the 6th March and Juniors Events are scheduled for Sunday 7th March. The event is being held in Glasgow Proud hosts of the 2014 Commonwealth Games at Holyrood

03/03/2010 – Scotland’s Seniors National Championships will be played on Saturday the 6th March and Juniors Events are scheduled for Sunday 7th March. The event is being held in Glasgow Proud hosts of the 2014 Commonwealth Games at Holyrood Sports Centre Aikenhead Road Glasgow.

Winners last year were:

Men’s – Gavin RUMGAY – member of the BTTF Olympic Squad
Ladies – Corinna WHITAKER – member of Drumchapel Table Tennis Club Glasgow

Junior Boys – Sean DOHERTY – from Glasgow
Junior Girls – Natasha MILLIKEN – member of Drumchapel Table Tennis Club Glasgow

Top 3 in the men’s event will be Craig HOWIESON Stewart CRAWFORD and the reigning champion Gavin RUMGAY

Top 3 in the ladies event will be Gillian EDWARDS Rebecca RUSSELL and the reigning champion Corinna WHITAKER

Sean and Natasha in their last year as juniors will be hoping to hold on to their respective crowns.
