Top Spin Messina EUCI won additional encounter in Stage two

Top Spin Messina EUCI overcame TTC Sokah Hoboken by same margin they lost yesterday. Since the clubs split the victories the additional three games were played. In Additional match Italian side won once again – 2:1.

Matteo MUTTI beat Quentin ROBINOT 11: 5 Marco RECH DALDOSSO lost to Benjamin BROSSIER 8:11 and Leonardo MUTTI prevailed against Mathieu DE SAINTILIAN 11:4.

In first match today Benjamin BROSSIER lost close encounter against Marco RECH DALDOSSO (4:11 11:5 11:5 7:11 1:6). By same narrow margin Quentin ROBINOT beat Matteo MUTTI (11:5 11:8 11:13 7:11 6:4). Mathieu DE SAINTILIAN also went full distance but he lost to Leonardo MUTTI (11:9 5:11 4:11 7:11 2:6). In the last match BROSSIER lost to Matteo (6:11 5:11 4:11).

“It was a hard fight but I’m happy that we pass the stage. Yesterday they played better than us; I lost two points and my brother lost the first match 3-2 after he was leading 2-0. Today was completely different match every duel was close but we had the power to win those matches. In the end I have to thank the fans that supported us until the end and gave us the power to win the golden games. We are really happy for this victory and we hope to play like this also in quarter final ” said Leonardo MUTTI.
