Preparation for the European Universities Games in Belgrade in full swing again

ETTU and EUSA meet online

The Sports Department of the European University Sports Association met virtually with the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) as the two partner organisations discussed their respective activities.

ETTU and EUSA have been official partners since 2017 when a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two organisations.

Wednesdayโ€™s meeting allowed both EUSA and ETTU to update each other on their activities as well as future plans ensuring each organisation was well-informed of their partnerโ€™s events.

Present in the meeting on behalf of EUSA was Sports Manager Besim ALITI Assistant Sports Manager Liam SMITH and Sports Assistant Lea MEDVESEK; ETTU Secretary General Richard SCRUTON Deputy Secretary General Pierre KASS Press Officer Milica NIKOLIC Administration Officer Ana IVOSEVIC as well as EUSAโ€™s Technical Delegate for Table Tennis Matija KRNC.

Following introductions from both federations EUSAโ€™s upcoming programme was discussed following which an update was given regarding the fifth edition of the European Universities Games taking place in Belgrade Serbia in July this year where Table Tennis as well as Para Table Tennis feature on the official sports on the programme.

Both organisations will continually support and engage with each other in future events and activities while promoting Table Tennis among students in Europe especially considering that places are still available for both the Table Tennis and Para Table Tennis competitions at the European Universities Games this summer.
