In Ulm in front of 4.000 spectators TTF LIEBHERR Ochsenhausen beat SV Werder Bremen 3-1 in the ultimate stage of the Germany’s LIEBHERR Cup Final 2018/19. ASV Grünwettersbach and TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau suffered defeats in the Final four semi finals.
For the first time in six years the German Table Tennis Cup has a new owner. Long dominance of Borussia Dusseldorf came to an end. This is the first title since 2004 for Ochsenhausen.
On the way to the title MAZUNOV’S team beat TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau. Simon GAUZY who became a father for the first time last Thursday gave Ochsenhausen the lead against Mihai BOBOCICA while Hugo Calderano widened the gap to 2-0 in a duel with Kirill GERASSIMENKO.

In the final TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen and SV Werder Bremen produced thrilling and close game. JANG Woojin lost against Bastian STEGER in full five games whilst Gustavo TSUBOI streched Simon GAUZY to full distance before French player succeeded.
