Triple Crown for 17 year-old Tin-Tin HO

Tin-Tin HO the 17 year-old rising star emerged as a hero of the National Championships of England held in Hatfield. She won all three possible titles but the most prestigious one was in the Women Singles Event in which she beat five times gold medalist Kelly SIBLEY in the final. OH won in six games making decisive 6-0 run in the late second set (5:9 11:9) to prevent her opponent to lead 2:0.

 

Paul DRINKHAL took his fifth gold at the PG Mutual National Championships after 4:2 win against Sam WALKER who upset triple individual champion in a row Liam PITCHFORD. It was DRINKHAL`s first title since 2012.

Semi-finals: Kelly SIBLEY – Hannah HICKS 4:0 (11:3 11:2 11:7 11:6) Tin-Tin HO – Maria TSAPTSINOS 4:1 (7:11 11:6 11:6 11:9 11:4). Final: Tin-Tin HO – Kelly SIBLEY 4:2 (5:11 11:9 3:11 11:9 11:9 11:6).

 

Men’s Doubles Final

Paul DRINKHALL/Liam Pitchford – Chris DORAN/Mike O’DRISCOLL 3:0 (11:4 11:4 11:7)

 

Women’s Doubles Final
