93rd Polish Table Tennis Championships: BAJOR and REDZIMSKI Triumph in Białystok

The 93rd edition of the Polish Table Tennis Championships concluded in Białystok with thrilling performances and historic victories. The spotlight shone brightly on Natalia BAJOR and Miłosz REDZIMSKI, who claimed national titles in the women’s and men’s singles events respectively.

For Natalia BAJOR, the weekend marked a triumphant return to the top. She clinched her fifth national singles title, ending a three-year wait. In a gripping final, BAJOR overcame a 0–2 deficit to defeat Paulina KRZYSIEK 4–2 (8:11, 9:11, 11:6, 11:6, 11:6, 11:9). With this win, she joined LI Qian and XU Jie on five national titles, placing her third on the all-time list behind Danuta SZMIDT-CALIŃSKA (11) and Czesława NOWORYTA (7).

BAJOR didn’t stop there. She completed a golden treble, winning women’s doubles with Zuzanna WIELGOS and the mixed doubles with Marek BADOWSKI. In doubles, they overcame Katarzyna and Anna WĘGRZYN 3–1 (11:3, 10:12, 11:5, 11:7). In the mixed event, BAJOR and BADOWSKI defeated Samuel KULCZYCKI and Zuzanna WIELGOS 3–1 (11:7, 11:1, 6:11, 11:6).

In the men’s singles, 18-year-old Miłosz REDZIMSKI delivered a commanding performance to win his first national title, defeating Samuel KULCZYCKI 4–0 (11:5, 11:6, 11:9, 11:4). The young star from Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki, who previously earned bronze medals in 2021 and 2022, demonstrated exceptional form under the guidance of coaches Paweł FERTIKOWSKI and Zbigniew GRZEŚLAK.

A surprise came in the men’s doubles, where Patryk DZIUBA and Kamil NALEPA clinched the title with a 3–0 win (11:9, 15:13, 11:9) over Dawid MICHNA and Łukasz SOKOŁOWSKI. Bronze went to Samuel KULCZYCKI and Jakub DYJAS and Tomasz LEWANDOWSKI and Marcel BŁASZCZYK.
