JOOLA Europe Youth Series: Türkiye Open 2025 in Nevşehir

The 2025 JOOLA Europe Youth Series Türkiye Open will take place in Nevşehir, Cappadocia, bringing together some of the most promising young table tennis talents from across Europe (45 players). The tournament gathered players compete in the U15 Boys, U15 Girls, U13 Boys, and U13 Girls team categories. See the pictures here.

U15 Boys – Türkiye Leads the Seeding

The U15 Boys category will feature a highly competitive eight-team Round Robin group. Host nation Türkiye has the top-seeded team, GUNDOGDU/KAHRAMAN, with a combined ranking of 6189.0 points. Close behind is Denmark 1 (HASSELBALCH/SEVERINSEN) with 5087.0 points, followed by Germany (WÜRZBERGER/GAISER) at 3619.5 points.

Greece enters with three teams, led by FOUSEKIS/KIOSELOGLOU, who hold the fourth seed with 2025.3 points. Two additional Danish and Greek pairs, along with a second Turkish team (KAYA/ŞAHAN), round out the field.

U15 Girls – Türkiye Dominates the Seedings

Türkiye’s BASARAN/KAHRAMAN pair enters as the overwhelming favorites in the U15 Girls category, boasting 5364.0 points. Their closest challengers are teammates AKYÜREK/KIRBAÇ, who rank second with 2691.3 points. Germany’s CHEN/ROTHFUSS and Denmark’s BARTHOLOMÆUSSEN/LIND will aim to cause an upset in the four-team Round Robin group before the Gold Match showdown.

U13 Boys – Türkiye and Greece Set for Battle

The U13 Boys competition features a six-team Round Robin group, with Türkiye’s AYDIN/SEREN pair leading the seeding at 3699.3 points. Greece 2 (ALEXANDRIDIS/KOUVELAS) and Greece 1 (ALEXIDIS/MARKOULAKIS) hold the second and third seeds, respectively, followed by three additional Turkish teams (GÜLENLER/ÖZDEMİR, KARADENIZ/KARADENIZ, ADAK/BALA).

U13 Girls – Türkiye the Clear Favorite

Türkiye holds the top two seeds in the U13 Girls event, with AYDIN/YÖNTER leading at 5329.8 points, followed by DAVUŞ/TOK (930.0 points). Germany’s CHEN/ROTHFUSS and Denmark’s BARTHOLOMÆUSSEN/LIND complete the four-team group.
