ETTU is inviting all Member Associations to nominate a person for the role of World Table Tennis Day (WTTD) Promoter for 2025.

From the applications received, ETTU will select two individuals to represent the region as WTTD Promoters.

As announced by the ITTF Foundation, WTTD 2025 will be celebrated on 23 April under the theme of “Diversity and Inclusion”—a continued celebration of table tennis as a universal, popular, and inclusive sport.

Benefits for Selected Promoters:

Mentoring and access to capacity-building workshops.
Marketing and communications support.
A monetary grant of €750 to organise their WTTD event.

Nomination Submission Deadline: Please submit your nominations (Motivation letter and brief CV) by Friday 17th January 2025.

Please ensure that your nominee meets the following criteria:

Commitment to organising a grassroots WTTD 2025 event.
Alignment with the values of diversity and inclusion.
Proven ability to engage and mobilise their local community.
