Portugal secured valuable points at home soil

European Championships Qualifications

In the Group H in the first match of the Women’s Championships Division in European Championships Qualifications top seeded Portugal overcame Azerbaijan in straight matches. In Pavilhão dos Desportos de Vila Real in Portugal tonight the host showed no mercy in front of 150 spectators.

Maryam IMANOVA won two games against Leila OLIVEIRA but SHAO Jieni and FU Yu finished their matches in straight games.

In next round on November 1st Portugal will play against Turkey.
