Reiging champions on duty in Netherlands

Dutch National Championships.

Main favorites at the Dutch National Championships will be Laurens TROMER (defending champion) and LI Jie (recent winner of the Top 16). In the men’s tournament competitors for the title will be national team players Ewout OOSTWOUDER and Rajko GOMMERS. Also Dutch champion of 2012 Barry WIJERS is among the favorites for the title. In the men’s field there are many players that can go for the title or to final rounds.

LI Jie and Britt EERLAND are on the list of the favorites for the title in the women’s event. Ana GOGORITA and Yana TIMINA competing in the top of Dutch Table Tennis for years are also candidates for a place in the final. Young talent SHUO Han Men could be one of the players who can surprise a favorite for a place in the final rounds.

For the fifth time the Dutch National Championships will be held in the Landstede Sportcentrum in Zwolle. A great accommodation which can also host our different side events. Finals will be played on Sunday: 2 pm doubles 3 pm women singles 5pm men singles.

Last year’s winners are Laurens TROMER and Britt EERLAND.
