NI Xia Lian lead GIRBAU-VIC TT to victory

NI Xia Lian was the back bone of Spanish success in the opening leg of the final of Women’s ETTU Cup. GIRBAU-VIC TT was 2:1 in reverse before recovered to win the match against French Metz TT. The match was decided in fifth game of the fifth match.

 

Carole GRUNDISCH gave hosts the lead with the victory over WANG Ting Ting. However NI was not in the mood for charity tonight. She overcame XIN Liu in the second match whilst in the decisive one she beat GRUNDISCH. Ana GARCIA was in charge for the third point.
